About
I have spent years around ocean research: ships, scientists, educators and the long road from a sample on deck to a story in a classroom. This project is my way of showing that road to kids, and to anyone who keeps asking what it is like out there.
How it is made
- Design lives on a big shared map, every scene and choice coded so we can discuss it.
- The game is built for the web with Babylon.js, so it runs in a browser with nothing to install.
- An AI studio partner (Claude) helps design, write and build it, and plays every version to test it. 3D characters and props start as AI drawings and models (Meshy) and are cleaned up by hand-written tools.
- The science comes from people who do it in the field. Until one of them checks a fact, the game marks it Draft.
What it is not
The museum, the ships, the labs and the characters are fictional. Nothing here speaks for any organisation I work with.
